Company documents and files were being stored across multiple platforms such as Dropbox, OneDrive etc. i-Source was chosen to implement an efficient platform to: 

  • Consolidate the documentation, enable collaboration, and strengthen information security.
  • Introduce a formal Document Management System
  • Establish Content Management System to communicate within the company using a common platform with interactive capabilities.
  • Ensure security measures to avoid data leaks, data thefts, etc.

i-Source Solution

  • Designed SharePoint architecture for migrating Dropbox to SharePoint sites.
  • Implemented Team sites, communication sites, and external facing sites.
  • Consolidated documentation and migrated to respective SharePoint sites.
  • The migration was conducted using a native tool – Mover.io.
  • Configured the following SharePoint sites:
    1.  Team-wise sites with owners and members.
    2. Communication site for publishing content.
    3. External facing site for each team to share content outside the organization.
    4. Introduced Intranet page with sitemap.
  • Applied governance model for SharePoint followed by quarterly audits.
