Customer Challenge
The Client’s Indian entity got acquired by a large Indian business group and their US entity was operationally separated. It was binding on all three parties to successfully split the IT functions maintaining the integrity, privacy, and confidentiality of IT services within uncertain deadlines.
The main challenges were:
- Supporting IT Due Diligence, maintain privacy, data security for Client’s US entity and new Indian entity.
- Transition of the cloud apps including Office 365 to Indian entity.
i-Source was chosen as the Managed IT services provider for the original consolidated entity and was tasked to split the India and USA IT workloads and hand over Indian IT operations to the Indian Group.

- On-boarded a senior project head to lead the USA entity side for the transition, India based i-Source IT team being engaged with other activities.
- Participated in multi-partied due diligence, conducted, and closed the third-party IT audit, executed the transition and handover of the IT function to the Indian Group, performed migration activities for the USA entity concurrently.
- Segregated application dependencies and data dependencies between Indian and USA entities
- Performed data cleansing of over 350 laptops remotely.
- Successfully completed and closed open points in due-diligence, third party audit.
- Transitioned IT workloads to Indian Group on their Google cloud
- Handed over all the assets to Indian Group with zero discrepancy or mismatch in asset list.
- Planned & executed O365 migration with zero disruption to business continuity.
